Syl calls Salem, Massachusetts their heart home, but, like many people living in the United States, their body resides in a location different from that of their heart. Currently, Syl's body home is beautiful Portland, Oregon. Syl likes Portland very much and hopes their friendship will blossom into something more.

These days, Syl spends much time rescuing discarded CRT TVs and VCRs from off the streets and trains them to do simple tasks and cool tricks, giving new meaning to their lives. Syl hopes to someday reintroduce these appliances into the wild, when they are ready.

Syl is an inspiration to us all: a shining beacon in the dark, lonely night. Humanity would be lost without them. God bless.
